Current project |
Currently I have two research projects at hand. The first one is a book titled Engineers for Taiwan coauthored with my adviser Gary Downey from my program and a senior colleague Chang Kuo-Hui (張國暉) from National Taiwan University. The other is my dissertation tentatively titled Engineering Overworking: Technology Tools, Engineering Practice and Engineering Identity. Based on interviews and an insider's knowledge of engineering technologies, and drawing from literature from multiple disciplines, this study seek to unpack the phenomena of overworking in the electrical engineering (EE) and information communication technology (ICT) industry in Taiwan.
